Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of the La Fournée Dorée group and producer of the famous brioche breads, is looking for an evening relief supervisor to join its team at the Baie-D’Urfé plant. If you’d like to join a fast-growing family business and expand your skills in industrial baking, this is your chance. This is a full-time position.

Description
When not on relief, the relief supervisor works full-time on the progress of various departmental projects. In the field, he/she manages employees on all lines. In line with costs and deadlines, he/she deploys the human and technical resources needed to successfully complete the packaging/manufacturing program. He/she keeps abreast of current and future actions in all areas of his/her departments.
Responsibilities
Production organization
– Validate schedules prepared by the planning department.
– Ensures that technical resources are operational.
-Validates team reorganizations.
-Communicates production progress to the various departments concerned.
-Ensures that measures are taken in the event of equipment malfunction and defines corrective actions with technical departments.
-Organizes equipment cleaning with the various departments concerned.
Management
– Plans employee vacations.
– Supervises, leads and motivates employees: instructions, debriefings, meetings, etc.
– Identifies recruitment needs and advises his/her deputy.
– Monitor employee training and ensure validation of new trainees.
Continuous improvement.
– Works full-time on improvement projects when not on standby.
– Suggests improvements to workstations and equipment organization.
– Sets up the necessary records to better analyze recurring defects and participates in the definition of corrective actions.
Qualifications
– Training or experience in food processing
– 2 to 5 years’ experience in team management in an industrial environment
– 5 years’ experience as a team supervisor
– Ability to manage priorities
– Bilingual
Experience
– agri-food: 2 years (Mandatory)
– team supervision: 5 years (Required)
License/certificate
– Agri-food sanitation training or experience (Required)
