Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of the La Fournée Dorée group and producer of our famous brioche breads, is looking for a Merchandiser to join our team at our Baie-D’Urfé. If you’d like to join a fast-growing family business and expand your skills in industrial baking, this is your chance. This is a full-time, day-shift position, will cover Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, communicates and coordinates sales development with superior performance to all customers through scheduled visits and project management.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Ensures that the customer receives quality products through applicable distribution methods.
• Suggests increased product exposure through shelf or display presence.
• Ensures compliance with prices (details) established with the customer and advertised promotions.
• Implements planograms or assists customers in expanding product presence.
• Ensures full representation of all La Fournée Dorée (LFD) Brioche products in all stores.
• Solicits new customers to increase regional sales through retail or foodservice opportunities.
• Participates in sales events, sampling, trade shows, meetings as required throughout the year.
• Ensures the smooth execution of promotional events and the implementation of marketing strategies.

PROFILE REQUIRED

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience is required.
• Good observation skills
• Knowledge of the food industry an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, in both English and French
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize
• Flexible and versatile; good interpersonal and listening skills

Other requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, access to exclusive use of a reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable covering an extended territory and driving long distances.
