Magasinier Operator

Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of the La Fournée Dorée group and producer of our famous brioche breads, is looking for a Magasinier Operator to join our team at our Baie-D’Urfé plant. If you’d like to join a fast-growing family business and expand your skills in industrial baking, this is your chance. These are several full-time positions, Monday to Friday. We’re looking for candidates for day, evening and night shifts.

Day: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Evening: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Night: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

WAREHOUSEKEEPER (Forklift operation: 30% of time)

The employee must be able to operate shipping machinery and equipment:

• Computer
• Fax machine
• Forklift truck

He/she must also be able to detect and solve workstation operating problems.

Everything must be done safely.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for taking inventory, day shift beginning inventory, evening shift ending inventory.
• Verify receipt of order quantities.
• Separate and distribute products according to orders.
• Load and balance trailer quantities according to established order and make changes if necessary.
• Make changes to orders from the computer if necessary.
• Coordinate everything so that carriers don’t have to wait.
• Complete shipment reports and submit to your supervisor.
• Responsible for distributing work to general helpers.
• Place service calls when trailers break down.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Perform any related tasks deemed necessary by the foreman.
• Receive outside suppliers for factory payment.
• Store goods in designated areas.
• Inform supervisor if delivery is not in order.
• Complete shipping/receiving log.
• Respect good manufacturing practices
• Respect health and safety rules.
• Notify your supervisor immediately when food quality and safety may be compromised.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of the automated environment (use of computer software).
• Experience with WMS systems (use of scanners).
• Ability to work in an environment where priorities change rapidly.
• Strong team spirit; Ability to concentrate, pay attention to detail and get the job done; Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in both French and English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent experience of 3 to 5 years.
• Experience in a similar position in an agri-food environment an asset.
• Valid forklift operator’s card.
• Good command of spoken and written French and English.

0.75$ between 6:00 p.m. and midnight
