Lanthier Bakery, a subsidiary of the La Fournée Dorée group and producer of our famous brioche breads, is looking for General Helper to join our team at our Alexandria, ON plant. If you’d like to join a fast-growing family business and expand your skills in industrial baking, this is your chance.

BENEFITS:

  • Hourly rate: $20.85/h
  • Night Premium: $1.25/hr (24:00(midnight) and 6:00)
  • Evening Premium: $0.74/h (18 :00 à 24 :00)
  • Attendance bonus: $0.75 (certain restrictions apply)

Responsibilities:

  •  Assist the operator in his work.
  • Identify and solve workstation operating problems.
  • Assist the operator in making the necessary adjustments according to the type of bread produced (e.g., changing labels, bags, flour, etc.).
  • Perform any related tasks deemed necessary by the foreman.
  •  Ensure cleanliness of workstation.
  • Comply with good manufacturing practices and occupational health and safety rules.

 

Skills and qualifications required:

  •  Completed DES or equivalent training;
  •  Experience in an industrial environment (an asset);
  •  Bilingualism considered an asset;
  • Detail-oriented, self-reliant and team player.
